About CapabilityGraph

CapabilityGraph is a library of foundational disciplines built to work together — each rigorous on its own, but designed to produce cross-discipline insight that no single framework can reach alone.

How We Think

Most operational problems span multiple disciplines. An emergency department with long wait times is simultaneously a queueing problem, a staffing problem, a fatigue problem, and a funding problem. Solving it from any single angle produces partial solutions that create new problems in the other dimensions.

We build deep, operator-grade knowledge in each foundational discipline — then map the connections between them. The result is a thinking framework that matches the complexity of the systems it addresses.

What This Is

  • A library of foundational disciplines — emergent systems, operations research, human factors, workforce mechanics, public finance
  • A cross-discipline integration layer — explicit connections, shared mechanisms, synthesis pathways
  • An operator and product-owner lens — every page answers “what should software surface?” and “what decision does this inform?”

What This Is Not

  • Not a textbook or academic survey
  • Not a collection of blog posts
  • Not discipline-specific content that happens to share a domain

The value is in the connections. The disciplines are table stakes; the synthesis is the product.

Who We Are

CapabilityGraph is built by a team that operates at the intersection of operational analysis, software development, and service delivery. We build the thinking frameworks that inform our software and consulting work.

More about our services and software offerings is coming.
